File Management
Navigate, organize, and manage your raw data, shared hosting media, and external integrations.
File Management
The Datalinc File Management module provides a unified interface for interacting with your unstructured data. Whether you are managing files on a shared hosting partition or browsing media synced from an external WordPress integration, you can do it all from a single pane of glass.
Supported Sources
Your Center can mount multiple types of storage sources:
- Shared Hosting: Standard partitioned disk space for your workspace. Use this for raw data uploads, CSVs, and general-purpose document storage.
- WordPress (WP) Integrations: A synchronized view of your WordPress media library. You can search, filter, and reference these assets directly within Datalinc.
Navigating the Explorer
To access your files, navigate to File Management > Raw Explorer in the sidebar.
- Breadcrumb Navigation: Use the breadcrumbs at the top of the explorer to quickly jump back to parent directories.
- Source Switching: Click on the server icons in the left pane to swap between your Shared Hosting and your connected WordPress sites.
Uploading Files
- Select your Shared Hosting source.
- Navigate to your desired folder.
- Click the Upload File button in the top right.
- Select your file from the operating system prompt.
Tip
Your AI agents have native access to the File Management module! You can ask your agent: "Read the Q3_Earnings.pdf in my Shared Hosting folder and summarize it."
Managing WordPress Media
When a WordPress source is selected, the explorer adapts to a media-centric view:
- Search: Use the integrated search bar to quickly find images or documents by their filename.
- Type Filtering: Use the dropdown filter to isolate
Images,Videos,Audio, orDocuments. - Previews: Image thumbnails are automatically fetched and rendered in the grid view.
Read-Only Sync
WordPress media sources are currently mounted in a read-only state. You can view, search, and pass these assets to your AI agents, but you cannot delete them from Datalinc. Deletions must be performed in your WordPress admin panel.
API Integration
You can easily upload files directly to your Datalinc storage from third-party applications or automated workflows using our REST API.
Authentication
All API requests must include your API Key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token.
