Member Directory & Access Management

The Member Directory is the source of truth for all individuals belonging to your organization. Every business owner, job seeker, and donor begins as an active member.

Inviting New Members

Administrators can onboard members through three mechanisms:

1. Direct Email Invitation

  1. In the Admin Dashboard, click Members $\to$ Invite Member.
  2. Input the member's email address, full name, and initial role (Member or Org Admin).
  3. The recipient receives an onboarding email with a one-click activation token valid for 7 days.

Share your organization's unique signup URL:

https://{slug}.economy.vertueal.net/join

When members sign up through this link, you can configure whether they are Auto-Approved or placed into a Pending Review Queue.

3. Bulk CSV Import

Upload a spreadsheet containing member records (name, email, phone, external_id). The system automatically dispatches welcome invitations in batches.

Member Roles & Permissions

Vertueal Economy uses deterministic Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):

RolePermissions
Org AdminFull management of organization settings, member verifications, business approvals, and community projects.
Business OwnerCan create and manage business profiles, post products/services, and advertise vacancies.
MemberCan browse directories, contact businesses, apply for jobs, pledge to projects, and upload verification records.

Administrative Access

Grant the Org Admin role judiciously. Administrators have access to review sensitive compliance documents and approve financial campaigns.

Managing Member Profiles & Statuses

From Admin Dashboard $\to$ Members, you can filter and manage members by status:

  • Active: Member has verified their email and can interact with all marketplace features.
  • Pending Verification: Account created, but pending review of their Member Vault compliance files.
  • Suspended: Member access is temporarily revoked due to terms violation. Suspended users cannot post items, apply for jobs, or initiate orders.

Deactivating or Removing a Member

When a member leaves your organization:

  1. Open the member record.
  2. Click Actions $\to$ Deactivate Account.
  3. Any active business listings or job vacancies associated with the member are unlisted automatically to protect community trust.
